Terms of Use Effective Date: 25 May 2026 Welcome to Billinger (“Billinger”, “App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Billinger mobile application. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Billinger, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. ⸻ 1. About Billinger Billinger is a mobile application designed to help users create, manage, store, and export professional invoices in PDF format for personal or business use. Billinger may also provide optional account-based features such as cloud backup, synchronization, and storage for supported users. Billinger is a document creation tool only and does not provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal services. ⸻ 2. Eligibility You may use Billinger only if: * You are legally permitted to use the App under applicable law * You comply with these Terms * You use the App only for lawful purposes If you use Billinger on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. ⸻ 3. User Accounts Some features of Billinger may require authentication, including Sign in with Apple. You agree that: * Information associated with your account must be accurate * You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple account or authentication credentials * You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account We are not responsible for loss of access caused by your device, Apple account, credentials, or circumstances outside our control. ⸻ 4. Subscription Services Billinger may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions available through Apple’s App Store. Subscription Terms * Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase * Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period * Renewal charges are billed within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period * You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings after purchase Refunds Subscription billing and refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s App Store policies. We do not directly process subscription payments or issue refunds. ⸻ 5. Permitted Use You may use Billinger only for lawful business or personal invoice creation and related documentation purposes. You agree not to: * Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities * Create false or unlawful invoices in violation of applicable law * Attempt to interfere with, hack, reverse engineer, disrupt, or damage the App or its systems * Upload malicious, harmful, illegal, or unauthorized content * Misuse cloud storage, synchronization, or App services ⸻ 6. Your Data and Content You retain ownership of content you create or upload in Billinger, including: * Invoices * Business profiles * Client profiles * Logos and images * Other information you enter into the App You are solely responsible for: * Accuracy of all invoice information * Legal compliance of invoices and business documentation * Tax, accounting, and reporting obligations * Maintaining your own backup copies where appropriate Billinger does not review, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content. ⸻ 7. Invoice Accuracy and Legal Compliance Billinger is a software tool that assists with invoice creation. We do not guarantee that invoices generated by Billinger: * Meet tax authority requirements * Comply with invoicing regulations in your country * Meet accounting or financial reporting standards * Are legally sufficient for any particular purpose You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying invoices before using or sharing them. ⸻ 8. Cloud Sync and Storage Billinger may provide optional cloud-based synchronization, storage, backup, or restore features using third-party infrastructure. While we use commercially reasonable efforts to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee: * Continuous service availability * Error-free synchronization * Permanent storage of data * Recovery of deleted or corrupted data * Availability of third-party services Users are encouraged to maintain their own backups of important information. ⸻ 9. Intellectual Property Billinger and all related software, designs, branding, graphics, text, logos, features, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not: * Copy, distribute, or resell the App * Reverse engineer or modify the App * Create derivative works based on the App * Use Billinger branding or intellectual property without permission ⸻ 10. Third-Party Services Billinger may use or integrate with third-party services, including: * Apple Sign in * Apple App Store / StoreKit * Firebase services Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control. ⸻ 11. Disclaimer of Warranties Billinger is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of: * Merchantability * Fitness for a particular purpose * Non-infringement * Accuracy * Reliability * Availability We do not guarantee that: * The App will operate uninterrupted * The App will be error-free * Data loss will never occur * Generated documents will meet legal, accounting, or tax requirements * The App will meet every user’s expectations Your use of Billinger is at your own risk. ⸻ 12. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billinger and its owners, developers, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any: * Loss of data * Lost profits * Business interruption * Tax or accounting errors * Legal claims arising from invoice use * Service interruptions * Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages This applies to the maximum extent permitted by law. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with Billinger is to stop using the App. ⸻ 13. Termination We may suspend or terminate access to Billinger if: * These Terms are violated * Fraudulent or abusive use is detected * Required by law * Necessary to protect the App, users, or third-party services You may stop using Billinger at any time by deleting the App from your device. Subscription cancellation must be managed through Apple account settings. ⸻ 14. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available through the App or related official channels. Your continued use of Billinger after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms. ⸻ 15. Applicable Law These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, to the extent permitted by law. ⸻ 16. Apple App Store Additional Terms If you downloaded Billinger through Apple’s App Store: * These Terms are between you and Billinger, not Apple * Apple is not responsible for Billinger or its content * Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App * Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the App, except as required by applicable law * Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them as applicable ⸻ By using Billinger, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use.
